Arron Lorenz

My name is Arron James Lorenz, and I’m an entrepreneur from Davenport, Iowa. I am an owner and operate for Reach Global Networks, DOTLettering.com, Tat2You.com, and Reel to Reel Drive-In. I am the property manager for the Lakside RV Park. I am also the technical director for the Quad City Candle Company, Quad City Window Cleaning, Precision Bend & Machine, and the Blue Grass Community Club. In 2009 I was elected to be the President of the Blue Grass Community Club.

My expertise is square in the field of technology. I rely on continuous education along with training in the field of web development, and people development. After working from home to business desktop support to LAN center deployment to e-commerce business development to retail business management, I’ve taken the plunge into all out web development. Taking on projects that range from non-for-profit social web presence, e-commerce site design/implementation, product development, infrastructure build out, and desktop support.

I have started Reach Global Networks and brought in free lancers such as Brock Hatfield to bring the entire development process in house. We now have web proficiency in Design, PHP, JAVA, Java Script, CSS/XHTML, Wordpress, Joomla, and Magento to name a few. This allows me to grow my toolbox and to offer entire business technology management including Web, Networking, Servers, and Wireless. We can handle anything from simple desktop support and network build out to internet brand management.

I am currently working on two e-commerce projects DOTLettering.com and tat2you.com both of which are on going learning projects. That have both provided tons of insight into rapid prototyping, and search engine optimization. The most important thing to consider in SEO is not how easy it is do web server rewrites for search engine friendly results, it’s getting your entire web team, and copy editing staff into the SEO mentality. Keyword stuffing will actually rank you lower… Proper SEO must be ingrained into every blog post, press release, and image tag. At Reach Global Networks we put our skin in the game to try new technologies before ever recommending them to a client.

With Reach Global Networks I can finally blend my passion for technology with my passion for people building. Because when you get to the end the race do you want to look back at the people you left behind or do you want to look to each side of yourself and see all of the people you brought to the finish line with you?

I also enjoy writing, and well if you ask anyone that knows me… talking. I’m happy to speak on technology, social networking, teen/children’s computer management, people development, and wireless technology. Some of my other interests include music (almost anything but Beethoven whose music is at it’s best whimsical, and jumpy. At worst it’s just plain boring repetition.) I’m working on reading all of Wikipedia. I also enjoy going to the Quad Cities LUG, and Blue Grass Community Club meetings. I’m a lifetime supporter of the National Forensic League. Not to mention spending time with my girlfriend Jackie.
